dy/dt = ABcos(theta)*d(theta)/dt
now, d(theta)/dt = w
hence
vy = AB*cos(theta)*w
and
differentiating again
ay = -AB*sin(theta)*w^2 + AB*cos(theta)*alpha
ay = AB(alpha*cos(theta) - w^2*sin(theta))
b. AB = 0.6 inches
theta = 25 deg
w = -40 rad/s ( decreasing theta , so -ve w)
alpha = 0
hence
vy = 0.6*cos(25)*(-40) = -21.751 in/s
ay = -0.6*sin(25)*1600 = -405.713 in/s/s
