and r = 80 ft = 80 x 0.3048 m = 24.4 m

(A) At lowest point of circle,

Fnet = N - m g = m a = m w^2 r

N = m (a + w^2 r )

N = 66 ( 9.81 + (0.262^2 x 24.4))

N =758 N

(B) at highest point of circle,

m g - N = m a = m w^2 r

N = m (g - w^2 r)

N = 66 (9.81 - 1.67)

N =537.2 N
