can you do both question please this is my second time i ask the same question but i didn't get the right answer please can you do it both thanks
Please label the answer for both question if you didn't label its hard to understand the answer thanks
1. For the circuit shown in the figure below, calculate the following quantities. (Assume
and
R = 9.00 .
)
(a) the current in the 2.00- resistor (Enter the magnitude.)
2. What are the expected readings of the following in the figure below? (R = 8.80 , V = 6.40 V)
(a) ideal ammeter
Explanation / Answer
1A.
i1 is current in upper loop and i2 is in the lower loop
by kirchoff rules
-12 = (4 + 2)*i1 - 2*i2
-12 = 6*i1 - 2*i2 .....(1)
-E = -2*i1 + (2+R)*i2
-9 = -2*i1 + (2+9)*i2
-9 = -2*i1 + 11*i2
-27 = -6*i1 + 33*i2 ......(2)
add equation 1 and 2
-39 = 31*i2
i2 = -39/31 = -1.258 amp
means i1 = 2.51 amp anticlockwise direction
i2 = -1.53 amp
|i2| = 1.53 Amp.
