(a) By F = -kx

F = -111 * 0.13 = -14.43 N [-ve is just indicating the direction of Force]

(b) By a(x) = - w^2x

a(x) = - (2*pi*n)^2*x

a(x) = - (2*pi*pi/2*sqrt(k/m))^2*x

a(x) = - (k/m)*x

= - (111/0.71)*0.13

= - 20.32 m/s^2 [-ve indicating that it is retardation]
