Three gates of negligible weight are used to hold back water in achannel of width b as shown in fig p.2.81. The force of thegate against the block for gate (b) is R. Determine (in termsof R) the force against the blocks for the two othergates.

I am having a hard time setting up the relationship to R. (the figures is just b] is a gate with a hinge at the top that isstraight and a block at the bottom a] has the top half of a semicircle bulging out (holds water of radius h/2 c] has the samesemicircle bulge except in displacing water)
