Question
Hi guys . i need a short answer for each problem :1-Listening is often the most important aspect of good communication. Why is this factor often ignored? What can managers do to increase their listening skills?
2- What planning must be done in order to ensure an effective meeting process?
3-What planning must be done in order to ensure an effective meeting process?
4- You as a project manager have been successful in communicating and receiving feedback from your entire clients except one. This client has been a nagging problem. What should you do?
Explanation / Answer
1. It is often ignored as the manager may consider the speaker unimportant or he may lack patience or may be egoistic. The manager can try and remove the prejudices in his/her mind to improve the listening skills. 2. To ensure an effective meeting process, the agenda should be decided prior to the meeting, also minutes of the meeting should be noted down. Enough time should be given prior to meeting to finish off tasks to be reported. 3. Same. 4. I would try and understand the reason for his nagging and try to reconcile him into speaking to me. If he has a problem with me he'll speak out and I'll get my feedback. But if he continues to nag, it'll be reflected as a negative feedback for him and him getting fired at the end of the day.
