Question

At the beginning of the compression stage in an air-standard Diesel cycle the conditions are p= 200 kPa and T= 380K. The compression ratio is 20 and the specific heat addition, during the constant pressure process, is 900 kJ/kg.

a) Sketch the process on a p-V or T-s diagram identifying the state points and processes and then, making the “cold air” assumption calculate the following …

1. The all of the temperatures at the 4 state points around the cycle
2. The Cut-off ratio
3. The specific net work transfer
4. The thermal efficiency
5. The mean-effective pressure

b) Now repeat the calculation but instead use more representative “hot gas” values for the specific heats based on the temperatures predicted in the calculation in (a) above.

I did the question (a) but don't know how to do question (b)

please any one help
