A train starts from station A and for the first kilometer, it travels with a uniform acceleration. Then for the next two kilometers, it travels with a uniform spped. Finally, the train decelerates uniformly for another kilometer before coming to rest at station B. If the time for the whole journey is six minutes, draw the v-t graph and determine the maximum speed of the train. ( I think i have figured out the graph i just need help finding out the speed. Need help fast!) I also know that the answer is 16.7 m/s for the maximum speed. But i keep on getting like 14.8 m/s.Explanation / Answer
