Constructiuon of the genomic library involves creating many recombinanat DNA molecules.An organism's genomic DNA is extraxted and then digested with a restriction enzyme.The digested fragments are separated by gel electrophoresis.The separated fragments can then be exised and clones into the vector separately.However when a larger genome is digested with arestriction enzyme,there are too many fragments to exise individually.Then the vector containing the inserted fragments of genomic DNA can be then be introduced into a host organism.
