Question
1- A one-meter long wire antenna is center fed by a source with frequency 30 MHz :
i- find the wavelength and the current distribution along the antenna .
ii- find the radiation resistance.
iii- if the source is now replaced by another with frequency = 150 MHz , find the new current distribution & the radiation resistance
iv- compare between the results for the two sources above and comment.
2- consider a 3/4 linear wire antenna which is fed at the center, find :
i- the current distribution on the wire.
ii- for the input current of .7 Amp, find the loop current (I0) , and the maximum radiated E at r = 1000 m
iii- given that the radiation resistance of this antenna is 190 ohm (referred to I0), what is the maximum directivity ?
