The ice age affected the earth's crust. The thickness of the earth's crust increased as the sea levels are low at the time of ice age, the magma that flows from mid-ocean ridges flows and solidified quickly. This resulted in the increase of the oceanic crust thickness. Thus the the ice age influenced the temperatures of the earth to the greater depth of the crust.
