Educational buildings typically store more people in one room then most buildings. With that many people in one room, causes a lot of sensible heat gains. School buildings also have special rooms that draw a lot more heat than typical buildings. For example most schools have a gym which have high ceilings and then they most have a sports event in there with crowds which also puts out a lot of heat. There is cafeterias which the cooking equipment, hot food, and crowds of people, put out a lot of eat. Then there are the science labs and computer rooms which the equipment along with the class of kids will put out a lot more sensible heat than other facilities.
