You are a construction manager for two multi-million dollar commercial projects. Some of your responsibilities include:

Preparing for the project prior to construction starting

Staffing the job site

Managing the relationship between the field and home offices

Managing the sequences of construction

Closing out and turning over the project

One project will be a 20-story commercial high-rise in an urban area, whereas the second is an industrial plant in a rural area located 100 miles from the nearest metropolitan area.

In your opinion, how are the leadership skills different from the management skills required to successfully complete each of the above responsibilities? In your post, consider how the difference in location impacts each of the above responsibilities in regards to leadership versus management.

Leadership skills is as important than the management skill ,if you are good manager but you are not a good leader so u cant manage this type of project ,because leadership is a art that the people have to done job with the employes and employs also want leader to fight for their side.

1)-good leader is those who have listen to everybody so that even best option is choose by leader .

2)-field work and office work people properly corealated so that any type of contradict I's not occur.

Location-

Location matter because in this case u are not manging the things if you are not the having leadership skil.new location management is little bit difficult .some issue are in front of u and public whether support or not u don't know but with the help of leadership skill your are convey this type of project.
