Explanation / Answer

Yes I take vitamin supplements but not frequently. In case of deficiency or in case of nutrient deprivation sometimes I take vitamin supplements in order to maintain the proper balance and requirement of the body.

I would not recommend the vitamin supplement to anyone until and unless he is so much deprived and deficient of vitamins. I would recommend everyone to fulfill the daily need of vitamins of body only naturally. As the natural sources of vitamins not only provide vitamins but also some other nutrients along with it.

For more elderly people it is quite recommended to take vitamin supplements as the body is not able to metabolise the external sources more efficiently, Secondly taking a pill in order to supplement vitamin is not a part of well balanced diet so it should be avoided. so along with the natural sources the vitamin supplements can be recommeneded.

But for children it is highle avoided to give vitamin supplements as this will decrease their body ability to assimilate and metabolise natural sources to get regular essential vitamins and amino acids etc.

There are many vitamin sources in our daily foods.

For ex.

Vitamin A sources

Milk is a rich sources of vitamins and minerals. Egg is also good source of Vit A.

Carrot, spinach, apricots, water squash etc. are regular food that are rich sources of vit A.

Spices like paprika, red pepper, cayenne, and chili powder are also source of Vit A.

Vit B sources

Fish, meat poultry, egg and pulses are rich sources of Vit B.

Vitamin C sources

All citrus fruits are very good source of Vit C like orange, Lemon etc.

Papaya, Brussel sprouts, broccoli etc. are highly nutritious in order to provide vit C.

Vit D

Shiitake mushroom, mik, egg are able to provide vit D to the human.

VITAMIN E sources:

sunflower seeds, almonds, Spinach, Bellpepper, asparagus are common food that are rich in Vitamin E.

Vitamin K Sources:

Spinach, lettuce, turnip greens asparagus are provider of Vit K.

In this way without any extra effort having balanced diet adding above food items in diet we can get a proper sufficient amount of vitamins.
