The greenhouse effect is the process by which radiation from a planet's atmosphere warms the planet's surface to a temperature above what it would be without its atmosphere.

This is caused by the increase in the green house gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and fluorinated gases emission.

There is increase in greenhouse effect through human activities, primarily the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation, causing global warming. Thus Human act as major contributor to the green house emissions and act as user. The human activities such as electricity production from fossil fuel, transportation, livestock, various manufacturing process, etc enhance the green house gas emission.

The main long term effect of increased greenhouse gas emissions is global warming. The global warming due to enhanced green house effect have major effects like:

The immediate issue due to green house effect are such as, human health problems due to air pollution and increase in heat waves, depth of the ambitious species due to the ocean acidification, extinction of Important small species etc.

The green house effect also have impact on non users such as wild animals, insects, frog, fish etc which are not major contributor like human. For example, polar bears rely on cold, snowy regions. As the planet warms and these regions shrink, polar bears will no longer have a place to live. Extinction affects the food chain and puts stress on the surviving animals to find adequate food. The extinction of animals and plants eventually affects human choices for food as well.
