6 Uncertainity is stated as a non negative parameter charaterizing the dispersion of values attributed to measured quantity. All measurement are subject to uncertainity and a measurement result is complete only when when it is accompanied by statement of associated uncertainty. for example: a measurement of 5.07(+/-) 0.02 g means that the experimrnter is confident that the actual value for the quantity being measured lies between 5.05g and 5.09g. The uncertanity is the experimrnters best estimate of how far an experiment quantity might be from the "true value."
