A generator with Vg and Zg is connected to a load with impedance ZL through a 300 Ohm loss-less transmission line of length l = 3.7 lambda, where lambda is the signal wavelength on the transmission line. The voltage at the input of the transmission line is V1 = 100 V. Determine the reflected voltage amplitude, V0. when (i) the load is an open circuit (ii) the load is a short circuit and (iii) when ZL = 300 Ohm. For a load impedance ZL = 100 + j50, determine the voltage V(x) at x = 1.7 lambda where x is the distance from the generator.Explanation / Answer
