Draw the shear and bending moment diagrams for the beam and loading shown, and determine the maximum absolute value (a) of the shear, (b) of the bending moment. (I'll explain the diagram just in case, its a simple cantilever beam that is 12 ft long with the right side of the beam attached to the wall, the first force is located 4 ft from the right side of the beam and is -15kips straight down in the y direction, then for the next 4 ft there is no reaction but for the last 4 ft there is a 2 kips/ft for the whole last 4 ft. I forgot what type of load this was called but its contained to the last 4 ft of the beam.
