The idea and procedure are right but the calculations are not. The speed of boat with respect to stationary objects on shore is V = (32 + 5.52 )0.5 = 6.265 m/sec .

The direction is correct and the distance travelled will be S = V x t = (6.265) x (60) = 375.9 , this is also correct answer.

For the bonus part , the boat's direction should be such that it's component in west direction should be 3 m/sec, so that the net velocity component only remains northward.
