Question
Areolar (loose irregular connective tissue)
Adipose (loose connective tissue)
Reticular (loose connective tissue)
dense irregular
dense regular
hyaline cartilage
fibrocartilage
elastic cartilage
I'm really confused how to approach this question. I know there asking to place in order which substances diffuse easiest through the matrix but I'm unclear how to differentiate which tissues would be easier or harder to diffuse through. If someone can please place these in order and explain the characteristics that makes diffusion easier than another. I really want to learn this stuff. Thanks in advance
Explanation / Answer
Loose irregular [Areolar]: widespread, soft and pliable
Adipose: absorb nutrients to diffusion is easier
Reticular connective tissue: last of loose connective tissue
Dense irregular: collagen fibers randomly orientated
Dense regular: closely-packed densely-arranged fiber bundles
