Question

The main problem i have here is finding the power loss at the 3 resistors then finding the total input power? i calculated the values:

I2=83.3(-36.9)

I1=8.3(-36.9)

V2=249(2.07)

V1=2490(2.07)

Vs=3491(2.07)

these values where found from the load that has 20k apparent power and 80% lagging. I tried to simplify the impendence in parallel to find the current going through it but keep getting wrong.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide. I will rate answers

All values are rms and ( ) stands for the phasor angle.

Explanation / Answer

there may be a problem with the question..even i too found a problem in solving it accurately..don't worry, some questions do have flaws :)
