Explanation / Answer

1. My body weight is 71 kg.

DRI recommendation for adults: 0.8 grams of protien/kg of body weight= 71 x 0.8= 56.8g.

This is my recommended amount of protien per day.

My protien intake:

Breakfast:

1 slice bread and cheese spread: (48.2+9)g= 57.2g

Dinner:

vegetable = 25g

Total protien intake: 57.2g+25g

= 82.2g which is 44.7% of recommended amount.(82.2-56.8=25.4, % of total intake = 25.4/56.8 x 100= 44.7%)

Suggestion to maintain daily protien requirement:

Breakfast:

Tomato garlic soup : 1.68g

Lunch:

1 slice bread: 48.2

Something prepared with tomato: 1.68g

Dinner :

1 Medium apple: 0.36g

Snacks :

Milk = 8g

Total: 1.68g+ 48.2g+ 1.68g +.36g + 8g = 59.92g

2. Excess dietary protein can lead to elevated blood sugar, weight gain, kidney stress to get rid of all the extra nitrogen, leaching of bone minerals, and stimulating cancer cells. Increased blood sugar levels can also feed pathogenic bacteria and yeast. High-protein diet causes ketosis, where it starts burning fat for fuel instead of the usual carbohydrates.  When the body burns fat, it also produces chemicals called ketones that can leave your mouth smelling.

3.The plant protein sources, which do not always contain all the essential amino acids in required proportions, making them incomplete proteins such as beans, rice, nuts, wheat. All animal sources of protein provides all the essential amino acids that our body needs such as:fish, beef, pork, dairy, eggs, turkey, chicken. But some plant protein sources that contain all the essential amino acids.such as chia seeds do contain all the essential amino acids, one tablespoon of chia only contains three grams of protein, soy, quinoa, hemp, amaranth etc.

The foods that alone are incomplete proteins, but when combined their amino acid composition is complimentary and you will get all your essential amino acids from a meal with that combination. Someone can eat protiens from plant sources and get all the essential amino acids when it is combined with protien sources that contain all the essential amino acids.
