Question

In my physics lab, we have been constructing a different type of circuit each week (i.e., single circuit, resistors in series, resistors in parallel, Wheatstone bridge). On the midterm, we will have to construct each of these circuits by ourselves. I have the diagrams of the circuits, but they are not helpful in indicating which wire plugs into what. How can you explain, in words, how to construct a single circuit? I need the information to be very detailed (i.e., the wire plugs into the positive or negative hole on the power supply and the other end of the wire plugs into __ hole on the ammeter, etc).
The equipment used in lab to construct a single circuit included: a resistor (coils), 2 digital multimeters (DMMs), a power supply, an ammeter, a voltmeter, and wires.
Thanks!
Explanation / Answer
Exactly how you construct the circuit will vary based on the diagrams (schematics) you are provided. If the schematic specifies where the voltmeter and ammeter go, then it's a little easier. If they don't it's based on what you're trying to measure. If you provide the figures I can explain how to hook the resistors to a power supply and the meters.
