The important role of sensors is making our life better and safer. Also, sensors have a huge impact on various applications areas such as industrial automation, system monitoring and control, transportation (cars …), medical/health systems

For example consider the sensor application area such as finding the exact amount of gas present in the cylinder with the help of the weight sensor. The major use of this we can alert the consumers in advance that the gas is about to complete.
The main issues in using the sensor like that first it has to bear a lot of weight continuously and based on the voltage produced from the weight sensor one has to program the weights and alert the customer when the gas is about to complete. The problem is that in the market there are cylinders of different sizes and hence the voltage produced from the sensor will be varying. In order to overcome this all the cylinders must me made as unique weights. And to build the sensor with that much Wight bearing it is very costly and has to find the various ways to reduce the cost to build the weight sensor. If can develop the weight sensor which can accurately produce voltages based on different amount of weights and at very less cost there are a large number of applications that can be made with it. Normally now-a-days we are using the pressure sensors which are fixed at the outlet of the cylinder to show the proportion of gas present in the cylinder. But the problem with this method is that the pressure sensor will not produce the voltage proportion to the amount of gas just it will show the readings. It is difficult to read that readings and to judge what is the amount of gas present in the cylinder. And also with this type of pressure sensors it is not possible to give the alert to the customers. Instead of this we can have to use the weight sensor to make that application successfully which will be very much beneficial to the consumers who are using the cylinders. And also if we the weight sensors to give alert to the consumers we can extend this to the automatic booking of the cylinder based on the details already stored in the microcontroller which contains the program. One can also use piezoelectric sensors to make this application successfully. But the problem with the piezoelectric sensors that are present now a days is that they cannot bear the weight continuously and one can either develop the weight sensor or p piezoelectric sensor which can bear the weight continuously.
