The description of the figure: C is in the middle. A is on the left and B is on the right. The arrows in the middle point form B to C, from C to A. The Arrow on the left points away from A, and the arrow on the right points away from B.
Explanation / Answer
Since net effect of A and B plates on left of A and right of B is zero. So we can say that to make electric field point away from A towards left of A and away from B towards right of B, we need C to be positively charged and this also satasfy other condition of electric field.
So answer is A :- positive
