I need help with potential topics for a review paper for a 400-level Conservation Biology class. The class culminates ia final review paper and we have to come up with a topic for this review paper, and I am struggling to come up with a topic. Here are the guidelines:

"A major part of your grade in Conservation Biology will be an original review paper that you write based on information from the scientific literature. A review paper involves qualitatively summarizing the available literature on a particular topic, noting similarities and important differences in results amond different studies. A good review paper will not only assess the current state of a particular field or research question, but also identify important unresolved questions and suggest fruitful avenues for future research. Think of your audience as being an advanced student or new researcher in a field who wants to get a synthetic overview of a particular topic.

You want to identify a research question that is of interest to you, and has been sufficiently investigated in the literature that you will be able to find several studies on your topic. For review papers, your topic can be pretty general (examples include): 'Societal attitudes towards biodiversity in megadiverse countries', OR 'The utility of ecological restoration for increasing population size of target species', OR 'The threat of climate change for endangered plants' are all examples of good review topics. Make sure that your topic is general enough that you will be able to find at least 20 relevant papers, but not so broad as to make it difficult to synopsize research on the topic."

Explanation / Answer

You can select a topic according to ongoing activities on conservation biology or recent threats of biodiversity,like-the threats for endangered animals,the approach towards those animals to be taken by megadiverse countries to increase their population or to save them.

For writing a review article you should look for the current status of the researches that have been done till now,discuss those and suggest the possible future aspects.Include the informations available in the research papers,summarize those to help the audience to get a glimpse of your topic.
