m1V1x+m2V2x =(m1+m2)Vx

980*17 +1230*(0) =(980+1230)*(VCos45)

V=10.66 m/s

By Conservation of momentum in Y-direction

m1V1y+m2V2y =(m1+m2)Vy

980*0 + 1230*V2 =(980+1230)(10.66Sin45)

V2=13.54 m/s
