Explanation / Answer

PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE NOT PUT THE VALUE OF PI. IF YOU WNAT, YOU CAN PUT VALUE OF PI AS 22/7 OR 3.14 AND CHANGE THE EQUATION ACCORDINGLY

a) We know that length of wire wrapped around the solenoid is given as

L = N * pi*D

where pi*D is the circumference of solenoid, N - no. of turns

N = L / pi*D

b) N = 55 / pi*0.035

N = 500.20

so, number of turns = 500 turns

c) Number of turns per meter, n = 1000 / m

N = n*L2 where L2 is length of solenoid

L2 = N/n

L2 =  L / pi*D / n

L2 = L*d / pi*D

d) L2 = N/n

L2 = 500 / 1000

L2 = 0.5 m

e) B = uo*n*I

where n = number of turns per meter = 1000 , uo = 4*pi*10-7
