2. The primary coil of a transformer consists of 165 turns of coil while there are 110 turns in the secondary. What is the current in the secondary if the current in the primary is 1A.

3. What is the voltage drop across a 0.0668ohm resistor through which a current of 1 amps is flowing through?

Explanation / Answer

sol 1. power = voltage* current

= 12*424 = 5088 watt

sol 2. n1 / n2 = i2/ i1

so 165/110 = i2 /1

i2 = 1.5 ampere

sol 3. voltage drop = i*R

= 1*0.0668 = 0.0668 volt
