Question
Concept map for metabolism In this second concept map, I would like you to build a conceptual structure for what metabolism means and observe how you are thinking about the subject. For an introduction to concept maps, see the wikipedia article on it (http:llen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concept map). A good example is shown there. If you like using a computer to do this, here is a nice computer program to use (http://cmap.ihmc.us/) Of course hand written maps are just fine. From there you can include as many terms as you like. The root of your map should be Metabolism. The map should include the following. catabolism glycolysis- fermentation oxidative phosphorylation photophosphorylation- substrate level phosphorylation ATP NADH Can Someone doubble oneck my worh on the followin Electron transport chain ATP synthase Fe-S center Quinone light harvesting complex reaction center photopigments page? I drea) arrows to a few had trouble with chlorophyl 1 carotenoid-/ oxidation-reduction reaction proton proton gradient oxygenic photosynthesis anoxygenic photosynthesis retinal-based phototrophy.//Explanation / Answer
Most of the metabolic map seems about right, the only problem i could find was the part where you have mentioned that glycolysis uses electron transport chain. Also glycolysis uses ATP too.
