Question
I'm coming up with:
V1 - R3*I3 - R1*I1 = 0 and -V2 - R3*I3 - R2*I2 = 0 for the junction rule and I1 - I2 = I3. Am I right or wrong, and if wrong, could you please explain what the correct answer is? Thanks
What are the equations for the junction rule and the loop rule for loops febaf and debcd? I'm coming up with: V1 - R3*I3 - R1*I1 = 0 and -V2 - R3*I3 - R2*I2 = 0 for the junction rule and I1 - I2 = I3. Am I right or wrong, and if wrong, could you please explain what the correct answer is? ThanksExplanation / Answer
for the loop febaf
V1 - I3R3 - R1I1 = 0
for the loop debcd
V2 - I2R2 + I3R3 = 0
so you are wrong in the loop debcd.
For writing the loop equation lets move in anticlockwise direction in the loop debcd. Then for R3 the sign will changes because we are moving opposite to the direction of the current. rest part is correct.
