Cane toads:

Cane toads were introduced in to Australia in the year 1935 to control the cane beetle population. These toads are venomous. They failed to control the cane beetle population but instead they are successful in reproducing and spreading themselves.

Population control of Cane toads:

Government also seeks the help of residents to control the population of cane toads.
