E.g if the stress is to be reduced in the cross section we need to increase the diameter of the cross section which is the inverse relationship and increasing the diameter may lead to negative overall design and manufacturing requirements. And the negative constraint relationship which is called contradiction in TRIZ can be mapped to contradiction matrix to find the solution
