Design a go-anywhere, use-anywhere wind screen for outdoor recreational and casual-living activities, including sunbathing, reading, cooking, and picnicking. The wind screen must be lightweight, portable, easy to deploy, and low cost. A key constraint is that the wind screen can be set up anywhere, including hard surfaces such as parking lots for tailgating, wood decks, brick and concrete patios, and at the beach. A cost analysis should accompany the design. PLEASE WTIRE A SHORT REPORT FOR THIS PROBLEM.

We need a wind screen for outdoor activities as mentioned in the problem so the conditions apart from the one in question are such that Lightweight, Built in pegs to secure wind shield into ground, aluminium can be used so as to shield the wind and sun and also it is durable and cheap, since it is for outdoor hence it should have capacity to hold and store, should provide wind brake, should fold as it needs to be taken out and should be easy to use.

The design can be as shown in figure considering it is meeting all the above mentioned must have criterion.

For cost analysis we can see aluminium needed is around 10 inch high and 1.5 inch wide so it will cost around 5 dollar rest price will go in other material, labour etc.then total price would be around 3.2 $ so it will be sold around 9.5-10$
