a) acceleration a = 2 m g / 2m + M
= (2 * 4.65 * 9.8) / ((2 * 4.65) + 3.00) = 7.41 m/s2
T = m (g - a) = 4.65 (9.8 - 7.41) = 11.11 N
b) acceleration a = 2 m g / (2m + M)
= (2 * 4.65 * 9.8) / ((2 * 4.65) + 3)
= 7.41 m/s2
c) velocity v = sqrt [4 m g h / 2m + M]
= sqrt [(4 * 4.65 * 9.8 * 5.00) / ((2 * 4.65) + 3)]
speed v = 8.61 m/s
