HEAT EXCHANGER PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEM DESCRIPTION: Heat exchanger process is used to control and maintain the temperature of a liquid at a prescribed temperature. The elements that are included in HEP system are sensor, valve, Heat exchanger and Compensator. The figure (a) below shows the layout of Heat Exchanger Process followed by the block diagram. The temperature is measured using a sensor and the transmitter will send the measurement to a corresponding controller that compares the actual temperature with a desired temperature setRoint Tbs controller automatically opens and closes a valve to allow or prevent the flow of steam to change the temperature in the tank.
