Question
Question 2: Which of the statements below is false for a grid connected system and justify your answer. The grid connected system does not necessarily need battery storage, because the grid can feed power when needed. The PV system should be designed such that the array feeds the grid at all times including when the grid has failed The gird connected PV system can only be designed around the required load that needs to be powered. The PV array system should ensure that the DC current and voltage are within the limits of the inverter's input. a- b- c- d-Explanation / Answer
Answer is option C.
It is not necessary that grid connected PV system can only be designed around the requried load. Sometimes in rular area grid connected PV system is designed far away from homes and current is transferred to people's home although it is expensive and loss of current may occur. Sometimes extra power generated from solar grid is also transferred to state electricity department for benefits. So it is not compulsary to design design grid system near requierd load.
