Question
What I already solved for:
What is the resonance angular frequency? w=4950 rad/s
What is the maximum current in the resistor at resonance? I = 1.85 A
What I need help with:
a) What is the maximum voltage across the capacitor at resonance? (Vc in unit Volts)
b) What is the maximum voltage across the inductor at resonance? (Vl in unit Volts)
c) What is the maximum energy stored in the capacitor at resonance? (Uc in unit Joules)
d) What is the maximum energy stored in the inductor at resonance? (Ul in unit Joules)
For part (a) I used the formula Vc = (E/woC) and for part (b) I used the formula VL = E * wL, however both were counted as incorrect. I don't know what I a doing wrong. Your help would ge GREATLY appreciated!!
I will award full points and "Life Saver" to whoever is able to give me an explanation and clear steps for parts a - d.
Thank you in advance!
Explanation / Answer
vc= I resonamce * 1/woc......Vl = I res*WoL........1/2C *Vc^2......1/2L* I reso^2
