Question
(This question may be a bit more challenging, in my opinion) You are not given a lot of information, so work symbolically. Think about the connection between angle and wavelength for maxima, and for minima. (As you change the wavelength of light, you aren't changing the slit width, or the distance to the screen, or the angle of the spot on the screen you're looking at. So, although you don't know any of those numbers, you don't need them either, they should cancel out of your final answer.) Also, there are infinitely many different wavelengths that will have a minimum at this location! But only one of those wavelengths is in the visible range! (Giancoli section 22-3 might help you if you don't know about the wavelengths of visible light)
Explanation / Answer
