READ. Answers that do not relate to the following questions will recieve a one star, and a very 'nice' comment! Copying and pasting answers will be reported. I am tired of having useless people waste my points because their too point-hungry to even take into account the question. Just because the questions have the word "magnetic" in it, does not mean any answer with the word "magnetic" in it will suffice.

b) Assess the impact on society, and the environment of these technologies that use the mentioned fields.

one good example of gravitational system is a pendulum clock.

you have a mass hanged on a long wire that is oscillating due to gravitational field.

The idea is that period of oscillation os constant and depends only on wire lenght and gravitational constant.

impact on socity is obvious. ability to measure time is of the highest importance to people.
