Maximum static friction = 45*9.8*0.83 = 366.03 Which is grater than 300. Hence the dresser wont move. As the system is stationary, all the forces balance out => Force friction = force applied by the girl = 300N Even if the book is placed in the top, Force friction = 300N Book only increases the total mass of the dresser which in case increases the maximum frictional force that the dresser can exert.
