Let S1 be the distance fromslide

and S2 be the image distance


We know that 1/S1 + 1/S2 =1/f

And magnification = - S2/S1

but magnification here = 60/2.4 =90/3.6 =15/6 =50/2


So, f/ (f-s1) = 50/2 ...So, S1=11.52cm and S2 =288cm

a) distance= 288-11.52 = 276.48cm

b)Screen SHould be moved towards the slide..
