Question
suppose that the rate at which you work on a hot day is inversely proportional to the excess temperature above 75 degree celcius. one day the temperature is rising steadily, and you start studying at 2 p.m. you cover 20 pages the first hour and 10 pages the second hour. at what time was the temperature 75 degree Celcius.
So I figure this one needs to be an equation of dr/dt that can be solved with r and r two=10 but I can't seem to figure out the enitial equation to solve for the spacific solution.
Explanation / Answer
dr/dt=k*(T-75)
.
==> now Temperature rises steadily
==> T=c*t
==> dr/dt=K*(ct-75)
==> dr=K*(ct-75)*dt
now r1=20 at t=0
and r2=10 at t=1 Hr
this is the equation i figured
we need to calculate "c" but i am falling short of equation
there are two variables namely K and C
but we have only one equation
so my guess is some data is missing in the question
