Question
There is a current of 1.5 A flowing in a clockwise direction in a single square loop of wire that is in the plane of the paper. If a magnetic field of 0.50 T directed upward, and if each side of the loop has length of 15 cm, then the net magnetic torque acting on the loop is:
How do you calculate the direction of the torque? Or use the right hand rule to figure out? Clarify if use RHR: thumb? first finger? 2nd finger? (i.e. current, B field, length, torque)

Torque = N*I*A*B*sin Q,where N= no. of turns of coil=1,
I= current flowing through the coil= 1.5 A,
Area of coil= .0225 m^2,
B= strength of magnetic field= 0.5 T,
and sin Q=1 as area vector of coil is perpendicular to magnetic field.
On solving you get Torque= 0.016875 Nm
