a) If a polarized light passes through polarizer A

I1 = I*cos2(1) = 345*cos(22.5)2 = 294.476 W/m2

b) After passing through polarizer B

I2 = I1*cos2(2-1) = 179.858 W/m2

c) If the polarizers are intercganged

I2 = I*cos2(2)*cos2( 2-1) =  49.352 W/m2
