please solve A laboratory electromagnet produces a magnetic field of magnitude1.61T. A proton moves through this field with a speed of6.56 x 10^6m/s. (a) Find the magnitude of the maximum magnetic force that could be exerted on the proton. N (b) What is the magnitude of the maximum acceleration of the proton? m/s^2 (c) Would the field exert the same magnetic force on an electron moving through the field with the same speed? (Assume that the electron is moving in the direction as the proton.) (d) Would the electron undergo the same acceleration? ExplainExplanation / Answer
(a) force = qvB = 1.6*10^-19 * 6.56*10^6 *1.61 = 16.89 *10^-13 N b) F=ma a = 16.89 *10^-13/1.67 × 10-27 kg = 10.09*10^14 m/s^2 c) as charge on electron is same as of proton so the megnatic force will be same ..but in opposite direction magnituge will remain same d) the acceleration of electron will be different from proton because mass is different.
