The organic compounds contining nitrogen are
1. Aminoacids for example glycine and lysine etc contains nitrogen
Their function is protein formation. Which in turn forms muscle and various other structures in body.
2. Amides
They are formed from the reaction between amines amd carboxylic acids.
Function- nylon which is a fibre used in clothes is formed from hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid reaction.
3. Nitrogenous bases like purine and pyrimidines found in RNA and DNA.
