Ans- these electrodes works on the principle that when an external frequency of light, vibration or sound is applied on brain then it try to adjust it's internal frequency according to the external frequency applied.

This applied frequency so act like a stimulus which result in release of neurotransmitters which releases the hormones which are required to get relief from the anxiety or stress.

The voltage applied by these electrodes works in the same manner and make the brain to resolute it's frequency according to voltage by electrodes and help in stress relieving.
