Question

I am reposting a question I posted a little while ago as I had left out one element.
Three blocks (m1, m2, and m3) adjacent to each other and touching each other (m2 in the middle, m3 on the left and m1 on the right) are sliding at a constant velocity across a rough surface. The coefficient of kinetic friction between each block and the surface is ??. Note that there is a horizontally acting force pushing block m1 towards m2. What would be the force of m1 on m2? Please show the steps. THank you.

Explanation / Answer

force that m1 exerts on m2 = (m2+m3)g
