A) Hypothyroidism
B) iodine deficiency can cause hypothyroidism.If iodine deficiency isn't the reason for hypothyroidism, then iodine supplements will not be benefitted and should not be used. People with abnormal thyroid glands, too much iodine can cause hypothyroidism. So patient condition can be poorer with high iodine level in his/her diet.
C) TSH level helps in diagnosis of hypothyroidism. If the TSH level is above normal (5mIU/L) you are detected with the condition of hypothyroidism.
D) Goiter can also result from hypothyroidism. Hashimoto's disease is an autoimmune disorder which damages your thyroid so that it produces too little. Sensing a low hormone level, the pituitary gland produces more TSH to stimulate the thyroid, which then causes the gland to enlarge. So the patient can have the goiter.
